Dear Baby Girl,

You are growing! The baby bump officially arrived this week. Mommy's belly seriously grew 3 times it's size in just the last few days. I honestly had people telling me last week that I didn't even look pregnant, and then this week, bam! I am definitely pregnant! I'm so glad you are growing though!

So far you are still being nice to mommy.  I really have nothing I can really complain about. I feel more uncomfortable than I ever remember feeling with your brothers, but that just could be me not remembering. It may turn into a really long pregnancy if I'm already feeling this smooshed and uncomfortable already though!

We had an ultrasound and you are in fact a baby girl. I know we already knew, but it was nice to verify it by seeing it on a screen.  You are healthy with no abnormalities apparent. Daddy and I have been so blessed to have 3 healthy babies with 3 "easy" pregnancies. I know a lot of families don't get the same results we have, so we are very fortunate and grateful!  And we are very fortunate and grateful that you will be joining us soon.  We are almost half way there!

Dear Baby Girl,

Today we told your daddy's side of the family that you would be joining our family.  We sent a card with the announcement and then a surprise that you are a girl!  Everyone was really excited and of course is looking so forward to meeting you.  You are so lucky to have so many people who will always love you and look out for you.  You are blessed baby girl!

Dear Baby Girl,

I can feeling you moving! I'm right at about 16 weeks and I now know for sure that what I am feeling is you moving around!  It starts off just feeling like little air bubbles and then gradually moves to kicks and punches. I love when I get to this point in pregnancy.  Its so fun to feel you moving around in there and it helps me to know that you are alive and healthy.  If you are anything like your brothers, I'll be feeling a lot of you. I hope you are nice and comfy in there and we can't wait to see you soon!

Dear Baby,

We got an exciting phone call today!  You are a GIRL! I was totally shocked when Dr Fong told me over the phone.  Like I said, this pregnancy has been so similar to that of your brothers.  I had in my head that if you were a girl, my symptoms would be totally different, but I guess I know nothing about pregnancy.  We are really excited to have a change of pace around here and experience all that little girls have to offer.  I'm also glad that you will have 2 older brothers to protect you.  You are in good hands little girl!

Dear Baby,

Today we had our first doctor's appointment for you! I am seeing Dr Fong again and his whole staff was excited to find out that we would be adding another child to our family.  They were all there for both your brothers' pregnancies and births, so again, you have even more people that care about you already!

After talking to Dr Fong and seeing you on the screen, we realized you were actually a little older than I thought you were! You should be joining our family around August 23rd.  We still aren't sure if you are a boy or a girl but we got a blood test done today that should tell us in about a week.  My symptoms with this pregnancy have been very similar to those with your brothers so I wouldn't be surprised if you are a boy.  In fact, you have probably been my easiest pregnancy yet!  Whether you are a boy or girl, we are just glad you are healthy and growing like you are supposed to!  Here is your very first picture!

You have a strong heartbeat and are a little cutie already! Can't wait to watch and feel you grow!

Dear Baby,

Today we told the Ludlow side of the family that you would be joining our family.  We all got together to celebrate Christmas.  We were doing a white elephant gift exchange.  Daddy and I decided to wrap up the pregnancy test that said "positive" for someone to open.  Your uncle Jeff is actually the one that opened it up.  He knew right away that it wasn't a joke, but an actual announcement.  Everyone was so excited for us and so happy, as we knew they would be!  You have a lot of people who love you already! Their love for you will only grow as they get to watch you grow!

Surprise!

Dear Baby,

Today we found out that you will be joining our family! If I'm being honest, we didn't plan to have you, but we sure are happy you are here!

I'm not exactly sure why I decided to take a pregnancy test today.  I just sort of had a feeling there could be a chance I was pregnant.  Sure enough, after just a few seconds, the test read positive! I was so surprised that I actually was pregnant, I just went straight out of the bathroom and showed the test to your daddy.  He was on the floor playing with your brothers and just laughed and said "Alright! Congratulations!"

I haven't been having any symptoms of pregnancy yet, so I'm not sure exactly how old you are at this point, but thank you for not making me sick at this point!  We are happy to have you be a part of our family and I hope you will always be happy here.  You have two parents who love you very much and two brothers that I know will always watch out for you and protect you! We all only want what is best for you and I hope you will always know how much we love you!

Dear Baby Girl,

We took a very special trip this weekend. Your great grandma Ludlow passed away and we got to go attend her funeral.  She lived to be 100 years old! I was hoping she would be able to see you in person before she went to heaven to be with your great grandpa, but I know that because she left this earth that she is there with you now and will be sending you down to us when its time to meet you! I hope you cherish this time with her that you have.  She's an amazing, faithful women, full of love and you are lucky to be with her right now.  Give her a hug for us ok?!
